Set in the East of Northamptonshire, the Higham Deanery is one of fourteen in the Diocese of Peterborough.

The Deanery consists of 9 Benefices or Parishes containing 16 active churches.

The present Rural Dean of Higham is Father Grant Brockhouse, the Vicar of St Mary the Virgin, Higham Ferrers.

His role covers a range of responsibilities; such as ensuring that services are held in parishes where there is an interregnum, encouraging churches to pay their parish share in full to the diocese, overseeing the pastoral care of the parishioners of the deanery.
